castles and dragons!

This first grade class created dragons out of model magic and then made a castle background!  Look in their castle doors to see who lives inside!

Out of this world

This was a multi-step multi-media art project.  First graders created their space background using an watercolor resist technique- their planets were created by blending oil pastels.  Then, using model magic students created their rockets!

Aliens from Planet first Grade!

This was a really fun multi step project!  The students did a watercolor resist on the background.  The planets are made from blending oil pastels.  They then made an alien out of model magic, painted them and put plastic over them to look like a glass bubble.
